Welsh Hiking Trip: 15 - 18 February 2024
Experience Wales with Highway Adventures. Here is our first outdoor adventure trip of 2024. With 3 walks in 3 different parts of Wales and views to die for, you wont want to miss this trip. If you love the outdoors, meeting new people and beautiful scenery then this is the trip for you!
What to expect
All transport included (from pick up point onward)
4 star hotel
4 waterfalls walk
Radnor forest walk

Pick up information
We are flexible with where we can pick you up. You can let us know where you are and we can work out a time and place to meet you. The bigger your group the more specific the pickup location can be. (each trip has 8 spaces)
Itinerary
Day 1
During the initial day, our focus will be on arranging transportation to your lodging in Mid Wales. We are adaptable regarding pickup locations, and these details can be finalized in consultation with you before the trip date. Bristol airport is our preferred choice for transfers, for international travellers.
Day 2
After your breakfast at your accommodation we will collect you and drive to your first destination, where we will complete a hike through the beautiful Radnor Forest. This takes around half a day to complete. We will then return you to Llandrindod for some well needed rest.
Day 3
We will collect you again after you've had your breakfast at the hotel. This time we are heading to the stunning Elan Valley dams. Here we will complete a circular walk around the dams with breath taking views. We will have approximately an hour at the visitors centre/ café before heading back to your hotel. We have the option to stop Rhayder, the town next to the Elan valley on the way home.
Day 4
We will check you out of your hotel in the morning and then we will drive to the Brecon Beacons where we will complete the four waterfalls walk. This takes roughly 3 hours. After we are done we will head back to Llandrindod with the option of stopping in Brecon on the way through. We will the begin the journey home.
Accommodation
You will be staying in the 4 star hotel Metropole in the famous spa town Llandrindod Wells. Close to local pubs, restaurants and shops. Each room is a twin room that sleeps 2 people. Breakfast is also included with your stay.

If you like the look of one of our trips but can’t make the dates, let us know as we may be able to change the dates.
If you want to go on one of our trips and have a group size of 6+ we can offer bespoke trips tailored to your exact wants i.e. pick up location, activities, how many days, cost etc.
